July 4th Camping Trip

Back we went to Albeni Cove campground in Oldtown, Idaho on the PendOreille River, but this time our family joined us on the 4th of July. A beautiful weekend, weather-wise and fun-wise. This is a beautifully-run campground - I highly recommend it.
The river was back up to normal after the salmon run, and little kids were fishing everywhere and catching some pretty good-size fish.
Every campsite was full, thanks to the reservation system in place now. All our fellow campers were nice and friendly, and each campsite is basically private.
The only problem was fireworks until nearly midnite from some near-by river homes. But all in all, a great trip!
